Uniforms
During
the February 2000 National Board Meeting in Washington DC, a Civil Air
Patrol Honor Guard uniform was approved for wear by all Civil Air
Patrol Honor Guard members.
NOTE: This is the
only
Honor Guard Uniform that is approved by National Headquarters CAP.
There is not an Honor Guard battle dress uniform. No other ascot is
approved for Honor Guard use. Trousers/slacks will not be bloused at
any time. All low quarters will be highly polished and in accordance
with CAPM 39-1.
Any component of the USAF Honor Guard uniform is not authorized regardless of source.

Performance
Uniform will be Blue Service Dress Uniform
with the following:
- Male Blue Service Hat
with Cadet Officer Hat Insignia and rear chinstrap
- Silver Shoulder Cord
- White Ascot (Scarf)
with Honor Guard Patch
- White Pistol Belt with
Nickel Buckle and Keepers
- White Gloves
- Brown Parade Rifle with
White Leather Sling (Non-Operating without bayonet)
- Short Sleeve Combination
may be worn in extreme hot weather.
