17 July 2008 - Day 5

Thursday came and went and with it many more challenges and learning opportunities.  White Hats worked with the Honor Guardsmen on the Colors and Funeral Elements, while Red and Blue Hats worked on rifle drill with their Assistant Staff Instructors.  The intense training continued through the afternoon and culminated in several classes in the evening.  White Hats worked with Capt Taylor on public speaking and received their speech topics for the presentations later in the week.  The intermediate and advanced cadets studied performance planning and safety, and then took some time to call home.  DDR Commercial work rounded out the evening and a great fifth day of training.
