17 July 2007 - Day 10
Several
honored guests visited the Academy today. First, Chief Master Sergeant
Timothy Dickens, former superintendent of the US Air Force Honor Guard
came to observe the Academy and meet the cadets. Each flight had the
opportunity to chat with him, and he watched the rifle practice in the
morning. In the afternoon, Col Mary Feik, for whom the third
achievement of the Cadet Program is named, came to give a presentation
on her achievements. She also gave each White Hat who had earned the
Mary Feik achievement a special certificate which she signed.
In
addition to the visiting with the guests, cadets continued to work hard
on their rifle performances and DDR commercials. Some flights began
video recording their commercials with 1Lt Kirk, the MLO. This evening,
SA Phares gave a class on US Flag History and Etiquette.
