12 July 2007 - Day 5

The hard work continues! White Hats worked with the AF Honor Guard on the funeral element while Blue and Red Hats learned Colors Element manuals with the flag staffs and rifles. In the afternoon, Blue and White Hats practiced flag folding and Red Hats continued in the Colors Element. After dinner cadets attended a Drug Demand Reduction class taught by the Assistant Staff Instructors. The class highlighted the significance of the program and why as Honor Guard cadets it is important to implement the program at the unit and wing level. Following the class, cadets dressed in their blues uniform for an inspection by the Air Force Honor Guard.
