10 July 2007 - Day 3

Today, the US Air Force Honor Guard from Bolling AFB arrived. Five Honor Guardsmen were sent to instruct the three levels of cadets in the colors and funeral element. They were highly motivated to be teaching the cadets, and their enthusiasm rubbed off. Cadets did their best to exceed the expectations as they practiced rifle drill and did afternoon PT with the Honor Guardsmen. In the evening, the male and female cadets split up, and attended uniform classes taught by the Guardsmen. The day was hard work, and nothing short of 110% effort was given. Training over the next few days will be harder, but these cadets are up to the challenge.
